Met Superleraar wil ik de eigenheid van de leraar versterken. In mijn onderwijsblog op www.superleraar.nl/onderwijsblog uit ik mijn zorgen over de dalende maatschappelijke positie van de leraar. Onderwerpen waar ik over schrijf zijn de status van de leraar, samenwerking tussen leraren, werkdruk in het onderwijs, klassenmanagement en onderwijskwaliteit.
Als oud-docent geef ik in mijn artikelen onder andere de beleving van het leraarschap weer. Daarnaast maak ik onderwijskundige inzichten en nieuwsanalyses overzichtelijk. Ik werk vanuit de ambitie om het onderwijs te verbeteren met een centrale rol voor de leraar.
